We our publishing our 50th edition of Colour Planner at a time when the world today seems fractured and out of balance, but we are looking forward to Spring/Summer 2024, a season that we feel will be filled with hope. Our palettes reflect this shift from darkness into light, via a world of colour.
We begin with colours that make us feel safe. Then we move to a feeling of resurrection, an inviting palette of reds and pinks. Next, we experience a surge of confidence with bright, spontaneous colours. We then escape the chaotic for warm mid-tones and pastels, which settle us before we embark on our new course towards a visionary future.
This future is a vision of happiness and quiet hope expressed in a new understanding of warm greys, tenuous pinks and other-worldly hues anchored to the alchemy of gold. We link the physical to the ethereal, the imagination to dreams, both digital and earthly.
Four good blues emerge from our successful Ultra Steady story of A/W 23/24, and take a different, nuanced path, either greened or reddened and with a pure mid sky blue at its heart.
Red continues to be the engine driving design that needs the power of radical and transformative renewal to create a more positive future.
Potent and powerful colours that transport us to an imagined world where we can escape and enjoy a moment of personal transformation.
Rich warm colours that speak of luscious materials, fantastic, augmented design, and a sweet space-time narrative where the past meets the future in a blend of brights with warm softness.
The digital world is evolving to become a visually beautiful place. This is enabled by the fast progress of digital technologies but also because of the unbridled imagination of new creators.
Four good blues emerge from our successful Ultra Steady story of A/W 23/24, and take a different, nuanced path, either greened or reddened and with a pure mid sky blue at its heart.
Quiet and barely-there colours featuring the lightest tints that speak of fragility and yet, when used together, their union has strength. They are to be blended with each other and used to colour ephemeral materials.
