VIFF is the leading textile magazine in China.

It is born of a collaboration between CTIC (China Textle Information Center) and Metropolitan Publishing BV, publishers of Textile View Magazine (commonly referred to as the ‘bible of the industry’), View2, the magazine dedicated to denim, casual and the sports market, PantoneView Colour Planner, one of the biggest selling colour forecasts in the world, and Viewpoint, the magazine dedicated to branding and lifestyle strategy.

VIFF is the only magazine of its kind in China. It was launched at the beginning of 2003. After just one year of publishing, it was hailed as one of the most influential journals on fashion in China.

It has a total readership of 25000 made up accordingly of 48% manufacturers, 29% fabric manufacturers, 13% textile traders and 10% others. VIFF covers r-t-w and sportswear, fabrics and colours, yarns and knitwear for men and women.

VIFF is published 6 times per year: February, April, June, August, October and December to coincide with all the big textile and fashion exhibitions. VIFF sponsors or is an exhibitor at the following events: Spinexpo, Intertextile Beijing and Shanghai, Première Vision China, CHIC, Dessous China, Chic-Fashion China, Jiangsu International Apparel Festival, Dalian International Garment Fair, Ningbo International Fashion Fair, China Fashion Week…

China Textile Information Center (CTIC) comes under the auspices of the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC). With its headquarters in Beijing and branches in major textile zones like Shanghai, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, CTIC has about 470 employees, of which 80 hold master’s or doctorial degrees.

CTIC offers professional support and services to government decision-makers and textile companies covering the entire supply chain from fibres to r-t-w, from R&D to marketing and promotion, from quality control to corporate social responsibility (CSR).

CTIC affiliates include: Secretariat Textile Engineering Society; Secretariat of China Fashion Colour Association (CFCA); and Textile Apparel Weekly. CTIC owns such subsidiaries as: China Textile Network Information Technology Co Ltd; and Beijing Founder Science & Technology Corporation, etc.
